Talking to Yourself
Talking to yourself. Whether you want to admit it or not, it’s something that you’ve done at least once in your life. In fact, a large number of people report doing it throughout their lives from childhood to adulthood. Unfortunately, at the same time, the majority if not all of these people look down on talking to themselves, seeing it as a sign of madness or mental illness as has long been the stereotype in society. This is the reason you hardly ever see people talking to themselves in public or around other people. But is talking to yourself really such a bad thing? Is it really a sign of mental illness? With wives tales, traditionally held beliefs, and individual opinions floating around each with different claims, it can be difficult to answer these questions with a straight answer.
